Hello all!
Greetings from beautiful downtown Longview! The weather today is rather wet. It's pouring down outside and the temperature is finally dropping here. Last week we had a couple days that it stayed 80 degrees! The rain and cloudy days are allowing for some substantial temperature drops, however.
Thanksgiving was a very, very filling day... We had 3 dinners set up, but only one of them really came through. We were thankful for that after we finished the full 5 course meal though. We ended up having a second dessert at our 2nd appointment, and our 3rd appointment fell through.
Elder McNinch and I are doing great. We still love every day that we get to serve with eachother. Our area is doing very well and our teaching pool is growing. Tonight we will be teaching an awesone family. Kenneth (the father) was a referral from another set of missionaries in our district. I haven't met them yet, but Elder McNinch was able to teach them on an exchange while I was out of the area and he tells me that they are golden. They should be family #1 towards my mission-long goal of 5! Mo (Morguase, which I spelled incorrectly last week... pronounced More-gay-us) is progressing quickly. It is awesome to see the light come on in her eyes as she learns and recieves confirmation about the truths we are able to teach her. We will be teaching her on Tuesday night.
I can't believe I've been out 4 months already! The time is flying by way too fast. Fortunately, I'm working my little tail off and I dont' feel as though any part of those 4 months has been wasted in the least bit. I apologize for the shortness of this letter but my computer time is extremely limited today. I love you all very much and thank you so much for all your letters and packages! I hope everyone is happy and well. Until next time; be good, stay safe, and keep the faith!
