Hey y'all,
Happy summer! I hope everyone had a productive week! Our week went pretty well. We had some heavy rain for a couple days that affected our work in the beginning of the week, but were able to pick things up toward the end of the week. The most noticeable affect of the heavy rains was the high humidity that followed in the next few days. Temperatures were pleasant for the first day or 2, but the sun came back out in full force and we saw temps of 90+ with very high humidity. Biking in that was not much fun!
We were able to meet with Nicole this week. She is doing really well and is ready to be baptized regardless of how her parents feel about it. She wants to try one more time to tell her mom how she feels, and then she's going to set a date and do it. She's such an incredible girl, I'm inspired by how brave she is. She's never shied from doing what's right, from the very moment she came to know that the Book of Mormon is true. My testimony is strengthened by the example of the wonderful people whom I have the privilege of teaching. The sacrifices these saints make in order to be numbered in the Lord's Church and among His people is always impressive to me. Their example makes me want to be better.
I'm sorry I don't have more to report today. I love you all and I'll talk to y'all again next week. Until then, be good, stay save and keep the faith!
