Hey y'all!
This week went by very very quickly! Things are definitely heating up here in the Dallas area. Temperatures have been in the 90's with humidity, so it's been pretty fun biking it every day. We did some serious mileage this week and all my dark clothes have the salt deposits to prove it (yes I find it just as gross)! My missionary tan is shaping up nicely with super dark forearms and face. The end. We had some adventurous experiences while riding this week. One of which involved Elder Mitchell tearing the seat of his pants wide open at the seam. We were about 6 miles or so from home, but luckily we were near some members' homes. We stopped in with one family and I stitched up his pants
We met with Nicole this week! She is doing really well, all things considered. Her parents are still unsupported of her joining the Church, and it seems as though she'll just have to get baptized without their approval. She's feeling strong though and I think she'll make the steps necessary very soon.
We have been out of touch with Rebecca now for about a week. Last we heard from her she was doing well, but we're pretty concerned about her. Hopefully we'll be able to reconnect this week and resume teaching.
I hope everyone has a happy and safe Memorial Day! I love you a bunch and I look forward to hearing from/e-mailing you next week! Until next time; be good, stay safe, and keep the faith!
Love,
Elder Michael P. Lyman
