Hey again everyone,
Another hard working week is gone and the work rolls forward here in Athens, TX. Because of back to back meetings for interviews and a specialized training with President Durrant, we drove several hundred miles this week and got pretty sick of being in the car. We decided we'd take advantage of the cooler weather and get out on the bikes. 2 blown tubes and a few thorns later, we made it in for the night having had our fill of the wonders of bike riding. I remember why I loved being in a bike area so much!
We set a baptismal date with Jeremy for the 5th of November. He has asked his father-in-law to baptize him and everyone involved is very very excited. He's a pretty big guy so it's been a challenge to find baptismal clothes big enough, but we got it all taken care of.
Our teaching pool has been waning lately, so we will be focusing more of our time on finding through members and through our own efforts in the coming weeks.
It's great to hear from you all, can't wait to see how things are going next week. I love you! Be sure to tune in next week; same bat time, same bat channel(I couldn't help myself...). As always, until next time; be good, stay safe and keep the faith!
Much love,
Elder Michael P. Lyman
